Every matter that falls outside our primary practice areas receives the same intake discipline as our core work. We begin with a focused consultation to understand the facts, the desired outcome, and the applicable jurisdiction. Where a matter requires specialist input — for example, niche tax issues, maritime law, or competition matters — we work in association with trusted external counsel to ensure clients are not bounced between firms.

For matters spanning Malaysia and Australia, the firm’s dual-jurisdiction perspective is particularly valuable. A divorce involving assets in both countries, an Australian-domiciled trustee administering a Malaysian estate, or an immigration application coupled with a property purchase — these are situations where having one trusted point of contact prevents the costly fragmentation that often derails cross-border matters.
